Happy Friday. I am celebrating the start of my weekend with the ladies over apps and drinks. Actually, to be more precise: hot wings, beer and billiards. Although, our evening will be delightfully lowbrow, I am mindful of the host and hostess that may be in search of a unique cocktail to serve their holiday revelers. Here's an idea, how about a Martini made with Jabuticaba?

Native to Brazil, Argentina, Paraguay, and Bolivia, jabuticabas has an exotic and very sweet taste. If you can’t find jabuticaba, replace it for any berry fruit and cheers!
In a cocktail shaker:
• 1 ounce of vodka
• 1/4 ounce of white rum
• 1 ounce of sweetened and filtered jabuticaba juice
• 1/2 ounce of sweetened and filtered pineapple juice
• 1/2 ounce of lime juice
• 3 coffee spoons of sugar
• Ice
